Staff Services Division |

The Staff Services Division is extremely diverse in its responsibilities. All phone calls to the administrative phone number (816-524-4302) and 9-1-1 calls routed to the Sheriff’s Office are handled by employees of this division.
The Communications Unit handles all incoming 9-1-1 calls and provides radio dispatcher service to the Sheriff’s Office and several cities.
The Community Resource Unit provides public education & training on a wide range of safety & security topics.
The Property/Evidence Unit maintains the storage of all property & evidence secured/recovered during investigation of crimes. They also maintain the inventory of Lost & Found items.
The Records Unit maintains the files of all reports issued by the Sheriff’s Office.
The Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) Unit processes all permit requests and maintains those records.
