Warrants Division

The Warrants Division is comprised of both civilian and commissioned law enforcement personnel.  They are responsible for processing all Capias Warrants issued by the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of the State of Missouri.  When a warrant is received from the courts, it is input into several law enforcement computer databases (ALERT, M.U.L.E.S, NCIC, etc.).  Deputies assigned to the Warrants Division are responsible for the apprehension, extradition, and transportation of persons named on the warrants.  Such extradition and transportation often requires deputies to travel to other jurisdictions to take custody of subjects arrested on Jackson County warrants.

The Warrant Unit also has deputies assigned to the Non Support Unit of the Jackson County Prosecutors Office.  These Deputies are responsible for the arrest of subjects wanted on Family Support issues both criminal and civil.

The Warrants Division Commander is Captain Chris Campbell.
